Jeeeerrrrrrryyyyyyy!

I had been trying to see Jerry for years. I was very lucky to see him at his fav NYC theatre, the Beacon. It was quite surreal in a way to see him in person, after seeing him nearly daily on tv. Jerry was amused by the audience being so excited and told us to take a photo if we wanted. He was very funny in that Jerry way. It was exciting, I laughed so much I had a happy rush of adrenaline. I absolutely would love to see him again. He is the Bowie of Comedy to me, like the rock star level icon. If you like him, you deserve to see him in person. Super!!!!!

love jerry but ny still has one too many jerks

Jerry's show was spectacular. He was energetic, engaging with the audience and was hysterical. However, I wish the Beacon theater had security available during the show. This was a comedy show, not a heavy metal show. I sat in front of a woman who thought she had to talk outloud the entire show. When she wasn't talking she was whistling as if calling a dog from across a field. I never said a word, nor looked at the creature, but did cover my ears one time. At the end of the show she accosted me for being disrespectful when i covered my ears. It would have been nice if there were someone who worked for the Beacon who could have asked this woman to be respectful of the other patrons and consequently of Jerry's show.

A Fun Time!

The Beacon Theatre is beautiful and easy to get to. The show started promptly at 7 PM. There was an opener, that literally warmed up the crowd, for maybe 15 minutes, and he was very funny. As soon as he was done Jerry came right out and started. His stories were hilarious and so reminiscent of people or ourselves. He does not curse or tell any inappropriate jokes. He was so entertaining, I laughed the whole time. Also, because it was the 7pm show he was done by 8:30/8:40, so it wasn't a late night. Definitely worth the time and money.

Great time finally seeing Jerry

Jerry was really funny, so the show was very enjoyable. There are a few thing that are worth noting. The show said prompt start at 7 pm, but it started at 7:15 pm. There was no mention of it, although normal, but there was a warm up act, He was very funny. Jerry came on at 7:30 pm and finished at 8:35 pm. The show was extremely funny, but there were a handful of times where it was hard to understand what Jerry was saying. Mostly that was when he got amped and sped up or shreeked a bit. When he spoke slowly, everything was very clear. The Beacon is a very cool, iconic theater, but they have no elevator. When we arrived, there was a lady with a walker being helped up the long staircase. If you have any disabilities, call the theater. This is a tough one though. Tickets in the Orchestra were around $280, while tickets upstairs were $110 or $140. And it was sold out. I just think the Beacon needs to have some accomodation changes for disabled patrons.
